Founder of the Executive Master of Science in Corporate Communication, Director of the Centre for Corporate Communication, editor-in-chief of Corporate Reputation Magazine and Co-founder of the Reputation Institute. Professor Van Riel has published articles in prestigious peer-reviewed journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Business Ethics, Long Range Planning, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Management Studies, Management Communication Quarterly, as well as 15 books in 6 different languages, including Principles of Corporate Communication, Fame & Fortune and The Alignment Factor.
Professor Van Riel is a well-known presenter at conferences around the world on topics such as reputation, identity and corporate branding. His current research is on sponsorship, the management of communication departments and reputation.
