Carmen Páez Soria holds a degree in Law, Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) and has been a member of the Cuerpo Superior de Administradores Civiles del Estado del Reino de España since 2012. She currently holds the position of Deputy Director General for the Promotion of Cultural Industries. Her professional experience in the cultural field comes from her work as Deputy Director General of Cooperation and International Promotion of Culture and previously as an advisor in the field of intellectual property rights management, or as Deputy Assistant Director in Intellectual Property. Previously, she has held management positions in the field of International Relations at the Ministry of the Interior. She has collaborated with various educational institutions, such as the Berg Institute - Alfonso X El Sabio University, where she has been a lecturer on the Master's Degree in International Protection of Human Rights, Public Policies and Sustainability in the context of the 21st Century.
