Programming Director, Acción Cultural Española- AC/E

With a PhD in History -specialised in Archaeology- from the University of Valencia (1998), winner of an extraordinary prize for her degree and doctorate. Specialist in Protohistoric Archaeology, Iconography and Ancient Art, she has further developed her research and teaching, participating from 1995 to the present inboth international and national research projects.

In 2001, she furthered her career and started in the Cuerpo de conservadores de Museos del Estado. From 2005 to 2014 she was Head of the Servicio de Planificación de Museos Estatales, where she carried out, among other programming, coordination and training functions, the management of infrastructure projects in different museums (ARQVA, Córdoba, Oviedo, Ibiza and the complete refurbishment of the National Archaeological Museum, among others).

Advisory member of the Directorate General of Fine Arts, head of its Support Unit from 2015 until September 2020, she has been responsible for the head’s cabinet, coordinating transversal functions and projects between the different General Sub-Directorates (museums, archives, cultural heritage and promotion of art); managing the dialogue with cabinets and units, inside and outside the Ministry of Culture, in budgetary, parliamentary, staff, agreements, communication, protocol, agenda, etc.

He has published more than a hundred works on archaeological heritage, museology and cultural planning. On 2 October 2020 she was appointed Director of Programming of AC/E by the Board of Directors of the organisation.
