Mayor, Ayuntamiento de Teruel

Born in Teruel on the 10th of May 1972. She is married and has two children. Graduated in Social Studies at the University of Zaragoza (1990-1993), she has worked as a civil servant in the Diputación Provincial de Teruel since 1995.

Since 2003 she has been a councillor in the Teruel Town Council, serving in her first and second legislature as spokesperson of the municipal popular group. Since 2007 she has also been a provincial deputy. With the arrival of her political group to the municipal government, in December 2010 she took over the coordination of the Economy and Finance department of Teruel City Council, being the councillor responsible for Economy and Finance, Contracting and Assets.

In the 2011-2015 legislature she continues as councillor for Contracting and Assets in the government team of Teruel City Council and as provincial deputy she is delegate of the area of Economy and Public Function, deputy of the Sports, Culture and Social Services service and spokesperson of the Provincial Council group.

She has been Mayor of the City of Teruel since February 2016.
