Specialist in Digital Humanities, Universidad de Málaga (UMA)

PhD in Art History and Specialist in Digital Humanities.

Since 2009, she is the director of the Department of Art History (UMA). She is also a member of the Board of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, of the University Cloister, where she acts as spokesman for the cloistered group "Art and Humanities", and of the Governing Council at the University of Malaga.

She is the director of the i-ArtHis Lab research group (iarthis.es), coordinator of Trans-UMA (Laboratory of transdisciplinary competences) (transuma.uma.es) and of the TransUMA Tech Teaching Network of Excellence.

She has promoted the constitution of the International Network of Digital Studies on Artistic Culture [ReArte.Dix] (reartedix.hdplus.es), which she also coordinates.

Since October 2017, she is the President of the International Society of Hispanic Digital Humanities (HDH.

As a researcher, her main work focuses on critical study of cultures, digital practices, computational developments and new analysis methodologies in the field of Art History and artistic culture in general. She also studies protocols, methodologies and procedures for the management and development of digital projects in the field and Cultural and Creative Economy Post-critical museology in the context of digital culture.
