Civil servant of the Cuerpo Superior Facultativo, Museum Curator specialist, of the Administración General de la Junta de Andalucía. Director of the Archaeological Museum of Cordoba since February 2002. Member of the Executive Committee of ICOM-Spain, International Council of Museums 2016-2019, currently member in second mandate. Speaker in more than 70 conferences, courses, seminars and masters with numerous publications and books on archaeology, museology, museography, heritage, society, economy and culture, cultural tourism, the retrieval of women’s memory through heritage, strategic planning of cultural facilities, sustainability of historical heritage, leadership and team management. Coordinator of the Expansion and Reform project of the Archaeological Museum of Cordoba. In charge of creating the museological, exhibition, architectural and use programmes, etc. Member of the Editorial Board of the magazine museos.es (Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport) since 2012, continuing at present.

Current lines of work: Gender and Museums; the retrieval women’s memory in history; Historical Heritage and socio-economic development; dissemination of Historical Heritage and strategic planning in Historical Heritage.
