Director, Museo de Málaga

Since 2006 she has been Director of the Museum of Malaga and Académica de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Telmo. Graduated in Art History from the University of Granada. Doctor in Art History from the University of Malaga. A civil servant of the higher optional Conservadores del Patrimonio Histórico of the Junta de Andalucía, she has been working since 1986 in the Autonomous Administration with tasks related to the protection of historical heritage. At the University of Malaga, within the Department of Art History, she develops her teaching, research, projects and work management in the specialties of Cultural Heritage, Cultural Management, museology, social communication, strategic planning, and the historic city. She belongs to the Research Group of the Department of Art History of the UMA and has participated in 5 R & D & I projects as a researcher. She gives training in different masters and postgraduate courses for different universities and training centers.
