Archaeologist, Graduate in Humanities from the University of Jaén (1999), where he continued his studies and carried out the research project "Archaeology as a science: understanding in order to value. El Centenillo, a proposal to enhance its value" (2001). He has developed his professional activity in the provinces of Jaén, Almería and Córdoba, provinces in which he has directed numerous archaeological interventions of prospection and excavation, highlighting those of the Puerta de Baeza, Puerta de Martos, or Calle Millán de Priego 59, in which it was possible to document both the gates of the medieval city of Jaén and the defensive moat and the antemurium built in front of the city wall in the 15th century; From 2005 to 2008 his professional work was carried out in the Alcazaba Monumental Complex in Almería, where he carried out numerous archaeological investigations and interventions aimed at the knowledge and enhancement of this monument, focusing mainly on the area of the 11th century Muslim palaces; as well as the preparation of graphic documentation for the Master Plan for the Monumental Complex of the Alcazaba of Almeria. Since 2009 he has been working for the Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions (Department of Culture and Historical Heritage) in the Archaeological Ensemble of Cástulo (Linares - Jaén), being a member of the team that developed the Research Projects Forvm MMX and Cástulo Siglo XXI, carrying out different tasks of archaeological documentation and the application of new technologies.

His work has given rise to numerous individual and collective publications and to the participation in national and international congresses and informative events, such as the cycle of courses and conferences of the National Archaeological Museum, the XIX Summer Courses of the University of Almeria, the 19th Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists or the 20th Congress of the International Association for the History of the Earth.
