Director, Museo de Almería

Director of the Museo de Almería, he is a member of the Curatorial Corps of the Ministry of Culture and Sport. After working at the Madinat al-Zahra complex, he has developed his career in the field of exhibition design and curatorship since 2008, from the creative direction of Akanto, a company dedicated to the design and management of cultural facilities.

He has a degree in History of Art and Humanities, with various Master's degrees in Museology and Heritage Management, and has been a Laureate of the European Union since 2016, the year he entered the State Administration, where he has worked at the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, where, as Head of Service in the Exhibitions Department, he has participated in the management and control of collections for various temporary exhibitions. At the Museo de Almería he is working on the digital transition of the institution and on the progress towards universal accessibility of its spaces and collections, among other projects.
