Graduate in Geography and History, specialising in Prehistory and Archaeology from the University of Seville (1989).

She has carried out archaeological excavations in the Chalcolithic settlement of Valencina de la Concepción (Seville) and in several urban excavations in Seville, Tocina (Seville), etc. He took part in the international campus organised by the Gruppo Archaelogico Comasco, the University of La Sapienza (Rome) and the Museo delle Navi in Nemi, collaborating in excavations on the Appian Way and in the temple of Diana Nemorensis.

In 1991 he began his career in Andalusian museums when he joined the Corps of Museum Assistants, with his first posting at the Museum of Malaga, where he remained in the archaeology section until 1995. In this museum he worked on the inventory and cataloguing of the collections as well as their dissemination. He published, among others, works on the Roman glyptics of this museum.

In 1996, after a brief period at the Public Library of Seville, he worked at the Archaeological Museum of Seville for two years, also carrying out inventory, cataloguing, research and dissemination work on the collections. He participated in temporary exhibitions produced by the museum (such as the one on Demetrio de los Ríos).

From 1998 to 2008 she was head of the Department of Dissemination in the area of cultural property. During these years, she was part of the teams that managed large exhibition projects such as Zurbarán, Velázquez and Seville, Alonso Cano, Andalucía Barroca as well as other interesting small exhibition projects that travelled throughout Andalusia, such as "4000 years ago" or "Via Augusta in Andalusia". During these years he has dedicated himself to the dissemination of cultural heritage through the organisation of technical conferences for specialists (such as the Andalusian Archaeological and Ethnological Conferences) and for the general public (such as the European Heritage Conferences). He participates in the coordination of the very interesting project of the Gabinetes Pedagógicos de Bellas Artes.

In 2008 she returned to museums, to the Department of Dissemination of Institutions where she worked until 2017, as Curator of Museums. In this department she has worked on the dissemination of museum collections and museums as institutions.

Since 2017 she has been the Technical Advisor of the Museums Service, coordinating work, among others, on the telematisation of administrative procedures in the museum area.
