Director of Audiences, Centre Pompidou Paris, Metz

Catherine Guillou, who holds a degree in philosophy and a diploma from the Ecole supérieure de commerce de Paris, has been Director of Public Affairs at the Centre Pompidou since 2013. She previously created the department of the same name at the Louvre Museum, where she participated in the design of the Louvre-Lens, the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Department of Islamic Art projects, and designed the programme for the redevelopment of the Pyramid with a view to improving visitor conditions, particularly with regard to art education and mediation. She began her career on the project to redevelop the abattoirs at La Villette and, after its completion, joined the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie to take on similar responsibilities in the areas of public policy and mediation.
