Carmen Sanchidrián Blanco, PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences (1985), Professor of History of Education at the University of Malaga (since 1999) and member of the Advisory Council of the MAE. Her current lines of research are images and textbooks; childhood and children's education in history; material culture of education, historical-educational historiography (publications and doctoral theses) and education and women's work. She participates in European (ReCreaDe and TePinTeach) and national (Connecting History of Education) projects, is a member of the editorial board and reviewer for several specialised journals and has numerous publications on these topics.
