The sustainable mobility and transport planning promoted by the Directorate General for Mobility is aligned with the objectives set out in Agenda 2020 and the European Green Pact. With the aim of creating a new approach in public policies on mobility, with criteria of sustainability and resilience, which at the same time allows responding to the challenges of mitigation and adaptation to climate change, it is considered necessary to incorporate digitalisation and technological advances and innovation in the management and access to transport. For this reason, the Regional Ministry of Development, Infrastructures and Territorial Planning is working on different initiatives aimed at digitalising the Andalusian Public Transport System. These include the creation of the "Andalusian Public Transport Control and Management Centre", which is planned as the nerve centre of the autonomous region's network.
