Martina Colman - Head of Climate Science and Engineering at Climate Essentials- is a sustainability advocate and climate change expert with over ten years of experience in the sector. Originally from Argentina, Martina has an academic background in chemical engineering, renewable energy (MSc), and engineering for sustainable development (MPhil). She has worked on projects across all continents related to R&D, manufacturing, and consulting, ranging from biofuel implementation at a country level to climate change impact measurement. Martina led the development of Climate Essentials, a climate intelligence platform that is helping organisations and local authorities move from qualitative climate emergency declarations to data-driven and quantitative climate action strategies. She and her team are supporting over a thousand organisations on their journey towards net zero and reducing their emissions across their entire value chain.
