Francisco Marqués Aranda studied Industrial Technical Engineering specializing in Mechanics at the Polytechnic University School of Seville. From an early age he has been linked to the world of mechanical manufacturing, first in the family company MECATECNIC dedicated to the aeronautical sector and later in the automotive sector in the Renault company. After these years he began his entrepreneurial experience, establishing NOVATECNIC in 2007 aimed at designing and maintenance of waste management equipment, currently working mainly with the public sector. In 2018 he founded NOVALITY, a company focused on developing innovative solutions to respond to new forms of mobility. With the accumulated background of machinery design and manufacturing, and adding a multidisciplinary technical team including extensive experience in the industrial sector, the outcome of this project has been a wide range of connected and safe parking stations for bicycles and e-scooters, which are already in operation in several Spanish cities and whose level of innovation has been awarded by different entities. The last step of this recognition is the recent constitution of the company NOVALITY GREEN, where NOVALITY and SACYR participate to scale the project internationally.
