Councillor for Mobility and Digital Transformation

DigitalINDUSTRIAL ENGINEER from the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of the University of Zaragoza (1989). He began his professional career at the appliance company Balay, S.A. in the areas of quality control and product marketing. In 1993 he joined the Technological Institute of Aragon and until June 2023 he has served as head of the Quality and Environment, Innovation, Training and Strategic Innovation departments. From 2015 to 2023 he combined his work at the University of Zaragoza as an associate professor in the Department of Business Management and Organization of the Faculty of Economics and Business. In August 2011 he was appointed General Director of Research and Innovation of the Government of Aragon and held the position during the legislature between 2011 and 2015. Since June 2023, he has been Delegate Councilor for Mobility and Delegate Councilor for Digital Transformation in the Zaragoza City Council government team. As complementary training, he has the title of Innovation Manager Trainer from FEDIT (Federation of Technology Centers of Spain), the title of the Higher Course on Innovation and Product Development (Government of Aragon) and is an Innovation Manager from the Spanish Association for Quality (AEC), among others.
