He is Vice Chancellor for Research and Transfer at UGR and Professor of Artificial Intelligence. He investigates linguistic information modeling and the development of intelligent decision-making systems. He is the author of more than 350 articles in magazines and coordinator of more than 20 projects. He is currently coordinator of the UGR office of IFMI Dones and of the LifeWatch-UGR project.
