His background is in Food Engineering and he holds a PhD in Innovation Systems. After a short period in the private sector, he joined the KTO of the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 1989, where he has worked in a variety of responsibilities. Since 1999 he is its director. He has been coordinator of RedOTRI of the Spanish Universities and founder of the Redtransfer Association.
